The private recreational season starts on June 1st and ends on July 31st, with more opportunities in the fall from September 1st to November 30th, including Friday to Sunday weekends and holidays like Labor Day, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving Day. The Steinhatchee Chamber of Commerce and the CCA will be distributing 10,000 scallop sorter tools for free in Dixie and Taylor counties. We will let you know when and where they are available. If you own rental properties, please take enough to place in all your rentals so your visitors have a tool that they can keep. The tool will be similar to the one pictured.

I would just like to thank all our customers and clients for texting, calling to check in us and offering up donations to help our community get back up and running. Many are coming in for the weekend to help with clean up and drop off supplies. If you know anyone with a specific need please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I will do the very best I can to get it.

My family will also be around to help assist with clean up and we have chain saws , a trailer , trash cans , tools and willing to help in any way we can.

Just let me know what the needs are.

I am so thankful for my Steinhatchee Family and I will continue to pray for support to help everyone bounce back and get back on their feet again.

Have you thought about letting someone manage your property but often thought it would cost too much or I don’t know the right person ??

Here’s a few suggestions when interviewing a property manager to take care of your investment.

Ask for References
Ask where do you advertise at
Ask to see their personal reviews
Read reviews that guests have left on properties they manage.
Look at the company website
Ask about their experience in the business.
Ask to look inside one of the properties they manage to see for yourself how it’s maintained.

Did you know that if a property isn’t cleaned well most guests will not book it again?? That cost you money and free advertisement too.

Anyone in real estate can tell you they can manage your property but don’t be fooled , be educated when it comes to property management and see all the benefits hiring the right company can have.

We head out to Steinhatchee, FL for our annual scalloping trip that we have been doing for more than 15 years and on our first stop we spot something orange looking in the water, and turns out it was a bowling ball. Wondering what in the world a bowling ball is doing In the Gulf , We Brought it home and find out it was part of a scavenger hunt and worth 1700.00 prize package couldn't believe it. .We are super EXCITED!!.

Josh,Julie, Dylan,Courtney Lawton, Layla,Raelynn Cone. Along with Mackensie Brown, and Tracy Campbell from Green Cove Springs Fl.

** So Happy for this family. I will be meeting them within a few days to bring them the prizes and get the ball back for next year. So awesome that someone they knew could let them know what it was!

Who is ready for the Live For Logun tournament on the 22nd??? Not only can you fish for a chance at some great payouts but it is for a good cause! Proceeds go to supporting 4-wheeler safety and training for our youth!
