Friday, northbound traffic along Highway 97 will be moved to the new stretch of the parkway. The new onramps from Empire Avenue and Cooley Road will open.

Sunriver is a bit of an outlier in Central Oregon. It does not have a single food truck. That's about to change.

Made some improvement.
Opened up the wall between the kitchen and dining room. Changes the feel a lot.
Installed a central vacuum system to better get not only dirt but dust out of the house. Sometimes the desert can get dusty or trees pollinate.
Got started on a mini-split unit for the game room to keep it always cool and comfy.

3 day weekend for some schools this weekend. Who wants a get-away? Have some great family time away from the hustle and bustle.

The Smith Rock State Park footbridge spanning the Crooked River will be replaced late this summer. No temporary bridge will be in place during construction of the new bridge, which is expected to take four weeks.

Trails that will stay open include: Rim Rock Trail, Homestead Trail, Rope-de-Dope Trail, Canyon Trail and North Point loop. Climbing areas open during construction include: North Point area (accessible from the Homestead and North Point loop trails), Rope-de-Dope boulder (accessible from the Rope-de-Dope trail and Canyon Trail) and The Lower Gorge (Climber Access routes).

Halloween weekend and no Home football games for Beavers or Ducks. No school on Thursday or Friday for some kids either. Seems like a great get away weekend! Whole family deserves it.

Nice day in Sunriver yesterday. The fall is so nice there. Cool crisp fresh air in the morning and warm afternoons. Perfect fo a pull over in the morning and the take it off in the afternoon.
Breakfast at Cafe Sintra was excellent.
Did some repairs on one of the dryers, assembled a new bike, replaced a few lightbulbs, replaced a pool cue that was broken, put new tip on short one and got a new ping pong from our wonderful neighbors (will set it up to sit in top of pool table.) Was a quick trip to get the dryer running but also got a lot of little things done.
