Ad from Zillow trying to sell leads to agents. Selling leads is big business. The average lead is sold 50X by various sites that harvest your information. This ad indicates selling about 7,800,000 buyer leads per year. Fun fact, there are only about 4,000,000 buyers if they even had them all to sell. Real estate agents pay anywhere from a few cents to 35% of their commission for these leads. If it makes you feel better, agents get harassed to purchase these leads as much as consumers get harassed by the agents that buy them.
