MATLOCK STUDIOS is a professional recording studio and music equipment rental service, featuring the best of both vintage gear and modern tools.

My name is Eric Matlock. I've been recording since I was a kid. Music has always been my passion. I always loved creating original music and I envisioned making the music sound as good as all the great albums I listened to growing up. I 've had my recording studio since the late nineties. I'm also a musician and I have performed in several reknowned bands such as Jeff Jones Band, Mama's Cookin', S

ubjektochange, and currently Jelly Bread. In the early 2000's I decided to record my own projects, which led me to recording other artists. My experience with performing and songwriting greatly informs the work I do in the studio. You won't just be getting someone who likes to record things, but someone who is passionate about capturing and sculpting to get at the esssence of what makes your music compelling, emotional, powerful, and successful. My goal is to treat each project with the utmost respect and care. Great art changes lives for the better, and I would like to help the artist to get it out into the world.
