CACTUS HOTEL #1
Q and A with our visitors and travel authorities in the Southwest, as a hotel/resort concierge for 24 years, I’ve answered many curious questions including “Which veterinarian gives holistic pet massages? How can I have a Native American blessing at my wedding? (and) Where can I ride a camel?” This page is reserved for a fun ride without the camel.
CACTUS HOTEL Q/A
Here's why they call it a cactus hotel....
The giant Saguaro that lives in the Sonoran Desert surrounding Tucson; growing 40 feet tall, weighing a ton and living to 200 years is home to a complex web of intriguing creatures. Pygmy owls, bats, Flickers, jack rabbits, and other animals check in to dine or rest in this the world’s largest cactus after a day of scrambling for food and water in a desert oasis. This question is more charmingly answered in Brenda Guiberson’s booklet “Cactus Hotel.”
