In Junior Lifeguard Camp they will learn many of the skills our lifeguards use on a daily basis through coaching in first aid, water safety, team building, CPR and water rescues. Some of the skills and activities include:
• How to do water rescues and how to properly perform compact jumps to enter the water safely.
• First Aid and CPR. In addition, our campers in the 13-15 age range will receive a

certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Practicing situations, a skill we use with our lifeguards at the park during their lifeguard in-service to keep them prepared for any possible emergencies.
• Team building skills and a focus on teamwork.
• Water games to incorporate the skills they are learning in the camp (e.g. water relay races to promote swimming.)
• Opportunity to shadow some of our lifeguards who are working on the stand and get a firsthand lifeguard experience.
• Supervised free time each day to play on our 17 exhilarating water slides, million gallon wave pool and 1000 foot long Adventure River!
