Red Haul Express started in 1989 when Joe & Julie Mattos bought their first truck out of the desire to start their own business, and upon recognizing the need for a lowbed service in the area. With the right tools and enough experience just about anything can be moved. Owner and driver Joe Mattos brings years of experience and knowledge to the table in his approach to heavy haul transportation. He

once said “No stuff…to tough…” in response to a customer’s skeptical request to have a machine moved. Joe, as the son of a dairy farmer, learned hard work and how to run a tractor from before the time his legs were long enough to reach the pedals. It was once said that his father would put a plow in gear, let out the clutch, and have Joe plow until it was time to eat. With Red Haul Express each move is approached with a can-do problem solving attitude. We have moved everything from Caterpillar D10s to 100-foot pine trees that required custom support jigs to multimillion-dollar NASCAR equipment. Hello Joe and I have some very exciting news to share with everyone.
We have sold Red Haul Express !
Garit Wallace and Amber Anderson are the new owners. They will continue on with the Red Haul Express name.
They plan to expand Red Haul Express by adding 2 more trucks and trailers that they already have in service.
They are the owners of a third generation concrete curb company. Wallace Concrete. They have 2 curb machines and multiple pieces of equipment. We are confident that they will provide you with the same professional service.
Joe will continue to consult with them for a period of time before we turn over his cell number.
As of February 1, 2022 they will be billing you as Red Haul Express LLC.

We will be forever grateful for your loyalty to us and for all the work.

Don’t be strangers, Joe would love to hear from you. When he gets a new phone number we will let you know what it is.
We are both really looking forward to this season of our lives, enjoying family and time together.
