Farm and Nature Up-Cycling with an Edge I was born and raised on my grandparents working farm. They are now clad in bronze. I still love to explore.

We moved when I was 7, but I would visit in the summers for weeks at a time and cry when I had to leave. During these long visits I spent countless hours exploring the farm and woods. This was the playground of my youth and I was constantly on the lookout for treasures from Mother Nature. Always the collector, I would decorate forts and camps with pretty rocks and whatever else interesting I could

find. My go-to look was a fringed suede jacket and black square toed cowboy boots. By the time those boots were retired, there was a blow out on one side, a blown out toe and a rock embedded in one of the heels. As an adult, not much has changed, other than the size of my cowboy boots. I still collect. And I still look for gifts from Mother Nature. My collection of feathers gathered while walking with my dog Kai coupled with my background in floral design, has evolved over time into something I call feather flair. These feather creations affix via magnets thus ensuring no holes in fine fabric. These are unisex and can be worn several different ways including on the lapel and as an embellishment for hats and coats. I am Urban Ethel where timeless rustic meets urban style. My feather flair creations are handmade, utilitarian, and always in style.
