Exercise and Sport Studies
I am originally from Spring Lake, North Carolina and a graduate of Pine Forest High School. At the time I had no idea of the benefits of working out. I did it not only for sports but because I loved the challenge. My love for this has helped me throughout high school, where I was a 4 year letterman in football and track and also a state power lifting champion. Upon grad
uating from high school I attended Guilford College where I played 4 years of college football. Following graduation, I played one year of professional football for the Greensboro Revolution and then became an NGA professional bodybuilder. Through my 4 years of college I was exposed to many things that have helped shaped my professional career. Prior to my senior year, I was a Strength and Conditioning intern at Appalachian State University working with football and basketball teams. I was also an intern at Positive Stress Personal Training in Greensboro. These experiences along with my Exercise and Sports Studies degree have assisted me in becoming a well-rounded personal trainer. During my 8 year career as a personal trainer, I have trained various clients from 10 year old motocross athletes to 60 year old ordinary people. My areas of expertise are in weight loss, muscle building and athletic performance. I am very passionate about football. When I am not training or working out, you can find me scribbling football plays. I am a Defensive Coordinator for Carolina Phoenix Women’s football team, and Defensive Back and Wide Receiver coach for High Point Christian Academy.
