The ANC calls on its members and supporters and all the people of this country to use the occasion of World Aids Day to reconfirm our commitment and resolve to the struggle against HIV and AIDS, and to redouble our collective effort to improve the health and well-being of all our people.

The Witzenberg African National Congress joins the people of South Africa and the peoples of the world in marking World Aids Day on 1 December 2016.

The ANC calls on its members and supporters and all the people of this country to use the occasion of World Aids Day to reconfirm our commitment and resolve to the struggle against HIV and AIDS, and to redouble our collective effort to improve the health and well-being of all our people.

World Aids Day provides an opportunity to review the progress we have made together over the last year in implementing a comprehensive response to HIV and AIDS as part of an overall strategy to tackle disease, poverty and underdevelopment. It is also an opportunity to focus attention on the significant challenges that still confront our society as we work to tackle this epidemic.

Among the challenges we continue to face is to prevent the further spread of HIV among our people. We need to continue with education and awareness-raising programmes across all sectors of society, and to encourage safer sexual practice. All sectors of society need to work with government to ensure the successful distribution of condoms, and increased use of voluntary counselling and testing. Amandlaaa !

Men for Change in Nduli tomorrow ! This initiative forms part of the activities of the 16 Days of Activism Campaign. While the ride will create awareness of crimes against women, children and people with disabilities, it will also serve as an operational response to address such crimes.

The MEN FOR CHANGE WESTERN CAPE team will be visiting Nduli Community on and off-road motorcycles.

The team will be at the Nduli Community Hall from 11:00 to 12:30 on Wednesday, December 3. The day's programme includes a visit to the area where the fire Disaster took place. The team will be escorted to the different areas in the community.

PLEASE, I PLEA YOU ALL SPECIALLY THE YOUTH, LETS ATTEND THIS SESSION IN NUMBERS PLEASE.

We can't allow a situation where we are stuck with an OLD IDP that was drafted by our ANC Council before the DA took power. We raised serious issues in the previous IDP meetings and not a single one has been attended. Talking and Talking will not change our situation in this community.
