With over 40 years in the Safari Industry, we are getting into Bow Hunting!!! These awesome animals were all taken by walk and stalk ... because , well we never had blinds! During the hunt though we worked to remedy that and several blinds are ready for next season and we have more on the way. Looking forward to getting into this exciting and rewarding, even if slightly frustrating at times, hunting.

The Cape Buffalo on Western Safaris block in Coutada 9 are doing really well!!! Lots of calves and good potential in the young bulls in the herds. Loving the green grass after the drought finally broke.

Marula, Sclerocarya birrea, is by far Southern Africa's best known indigenous fruit. Our home district is named after it, it is used to produce the famous Amarula Cream liquor. At Western Safaris, we make "Marula Jelly", that is an excellent accompaniment with any Venison Roast or by itself on toast.

The largest antelope, their massive size alone makes them a fantastic trophy. But hunting free-range Livingston Eland in wilderness areas as big as Coutada 9 is always a great hunt.
