Little things matter. Today we saw The SUNRISE HIKING CLUB unveiling their new hiking gear and it was so remarkable. The Sunrise Hiking Club is a brain child of Travel My SA, the same umbrella thoughts which gave birth to Sunrise Adventures.
The Sunrise Hiking Club is a community health fitness and environmental impact awareness initiative. Its free for everyone to join and take part in its Hiking activities hosted twice every month.
It's the small things done with great thoughts.

One More Time, and this time at Sudwala Caves…It’s an exclusive Adventure and Family Day with breathtaking activities for both the young and the old on the 30th of July 2022
Start The day with a guided tour inside the Sudwala Caves…. formed 240million years ago through the dissolution of soluble bedrock, especially carbonate rock such as limestone or dolomite. before being mesmerized by the two lines of the newly built 760m Zipline hovering 150 meters above the Houtbosloop valley in the Mankele mountain range.
ZIPLINE WEIGHT RESTRICTION: Min 30kg Max 120kg.
Age: Min 5 years old
Let the young wonder in the Dinosaur Park where replicates life size models of pre-historic animals, ranging from amphibious reptiles, ancient reptiles, dinosaurs, pre-historic mammals, pre-historic man and more are on display.
With both lunch and breakfast being saved, the only thing you need to bring along is your camp chair, snacks and cooler box.
We cant leave before a clash of the titans in a paint ball warfare at Mankele. This is a spot for all ages and while the fun is unending, you can brace the cold with a super dive in an ever clean swimming pool while kids and brace themselves with more fun on the foofy slide.

Taking a moment to look back at one of our Camps at Wathaba earlier this year. Chilled moments where we sat, forgot our troubles and jus be at ease.. be ourselves and let the sun roll down beyond the Skurweberg mountains.
The sounds of the twinkling fire, the ambiance of the river just next to Kiepersol Camp, mixed with the vides of stories from different story tellers and the soothing refreshing drinks which went down so smoothly this a a haven we have learnt to create for ourselves.

HIGH5 HIKING TRAILS HIKE: 24 - 26 June 2022
IT'S A WINTER WARMER HIKE and You are INVITED...
Spend 3Days 2Nights in the renowned High Five Hiking Trails (Formerly Num Num) in Machadodorp, Mpumalanga from the 24th to the 26th of June 2022.
The High Five trails offers beautiful and unique hiking camps which leaves hikers with amazing experience. Regrettably ….. forget any romantic notions you might have as all facilities are shared so there is nothing like we are couples.
Friday we will arrive and spend the night at Pongola Express Camp. This camp is made of renovated 1954 railway coaches. It’s like sleeping in an antique.
Saturday morning, we will hike to CandleWood. This camp offers a magnificent to die for view of the Uitkomst waterfall aka the legendary Bride's leap waterfall. This is the 2nd tallest waterfall in Mpumalanga.
Nothing makes the trip awesome than waking up to a hike through the golden valleys of High Five back to Pongola Express.
Hikers need to be reasonably fit and agile; the trail is rated by Green Flag as moderate to difficult. Footpaths take visitors through landscapes that cannot be accessed by vehicles. Be prepared for plenty of swing bridges and ladders, steep hills and descents into stunning gorges. There are also sandstone formations that you clamber through and over.
