Drakensberg Hiker was founded on 2 February 2003. Our mission is to show off the stunning Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa to interested visitors.
Ever since we have been organising hikes and/or South African adventure holidays. This includes any combination of guided hikes, bird-watching, trekking, backpacking, game reserve tours & battlefields tours you'd like to do in the Drakensberg and throughout KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. We also love to visit Lesotho in our 4x4 vehicles. No one can show off a place better than a local! Interested in climbing the highest peaks in Southern Africa, including Thabana-Ntlenyana, 3,482 meters; Mafadi, 3,450 meters; Champagne Castle, 3,377 meters; and Giant's Castle, 3,315 meters? Contact us to arrange your opportunity to climb some of the highest peaks in Southern Africa! Drakensberg Hiker will arrange a partially or fully portered hike in the Drakensberg mountains of KwaZulu-Natal, and best of all ... we will do your catering and cook your meals for you! No more getting to the end of a hard day's hiking and having to cook a meal in your tiny tent. Now you can relax in our large "mess tent" with your fellow hikers and enjoy a meal cooked for you prior to turning in for a good night's sleep! You can also consider rounding off your hike with a tour our beautiful province.
