Johannesburg: Autopax Passenger Services (SOC) Limited would like to advise that one of our buses (traveling from JHB to Acornhoek) was involved in a serious accident on Monday, 16 May 2022, between Hazyview and Bushbuckridge. A taxi traveling in the opposite direction collided head-on with our bus. Our emergency services agent was activated and is attending to all passengers. Four passengers including our driver sustained injuries and are being treated at various hospitals.

City to City is currently working with traffic authorities to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.

Management is in touch with various families of the passengers. Management extends its condolences to the affected families of the deceased passengers who were traveling in the taxi.

All passengers remaining at the accident scene were transported to their destinations

Any further developments will be communicated timeously.
