It was the day of the puffy clouds in Sedgefield, it was very pretty but I couldn't get a picture I was happy with. This looks ok though but could have been better.

It is always nice to find a new angle on Sedgefield, this is from the beach near Gerike's Point looking over the waves towards the village.

The boat launching site off Kingfisher Drive in Sedgefield looking wonderful in the gentle light. One of the great features of the village is that you can be alone in a beautiful spot and take pictures without people getting in the way.

Looking down from the parking area over the mouth of the Swartvlei Estuary you can often spot fish in the clear water. These are Spotted Grunter holding station behind sand ripples in the flowing water and if you consider the distance the picture was taken from they are all good-sized fish.

One of the iconic things to do in Sedgefield is to take an evening stroll along Swartvlei Beach.

There is a good reason why this is called the Garden Route of South Africa. The ever green is back this year in full force.
I took a drive up to the heads on a crisp winter's morning with a layer of mist hanging around the lower ground of the coastal town of Knysna. The aloes seem to pop with an extra shade of crimson, and poker red plants are standing at attention on roadside curbs like diligent soldiers.
It turely is a sight for sore eyes.
