Crochet Retreat 2024: we started the day with show & tell😊 Dave and Ma**ca treated us to the left-right game, but nobody were left empty handed 😄 Joy showed us how she made her square blanket and after a lunch of vetkoek and mince from Aunt Evelyne, Erina shared how she made her tartan blanket. We ended the day with dinner at Die Waenhuis😋

Crochet Retreat 2024: some of us has to check things at work before the fun can continue 😉 Today we kicked off with a small crocheted pouch that Macky got us started with (supplies were in the goodie bag) and then Elize shared the ins and outs of the basic Tunisian crochet stitch, thank you!🤗

Quilt & Wine Pairing 2024 is a wrap😊 Thank you to Riëtte, ambassador for Montpellier de Tulbagh for this second annual collaboration! Everybody enjoyed the challenge of working out which wine pairs with which textile art piece and challenging it was indeed😄 Once again a successful venture - with my heartfelt appreciation to Ludolf and Carla Smit from Bruno’s Cellar in Nieu Bethesda 😌

Quilt & Wine Pairing 2023 fibre art pieces on Show yesterday at the Dias Quilters Guild meeting😊 It was my pleasure to share these works for a last time before it’s returned to its makers, after being displayed at the Montpellier de Tulbagh Manor House since May last year.
Six new fibre art pieces to pair with six wines from Montpellier de Tulbagh again this year, on 24 May 2024 at the Cellar at Bruno’s at the Bethesda😊
