Reporting to Bishops Distribution Manager, this position is responsible to monitor and control the flow of goods into and out of the Brisbane Distribution Warehouse, to be exported to 2 major distribution centres in PNG, by either air freight or sea freight modes of transport.
This role is responsible to check goods on arrival and before despatch, ensuring we have the right products, in correct quantity at the correct price, and that there is no damage to the goods. This will involve liaising directly with the supplier’s or our purchasing team in PNG.
The Storeperson will document when goods arrive and record their exact export warehouse location utilising our Pronto computer inventory system.
The Storeperson will be responsible to load export shipping containers with the goods they have receipted in.
The role requires an experienced forklift operator in unloading, loading trucks and container loading.
Position Responsibilities
• Operate licensed and non-licensed material handling equipment such as a forklift , pallet jack or trolley to assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving goods around the warehouse for storage
• Responsible for the picking, packing, wrapping and dispatching completed orders to be exported to PNG.
• Responsible for ensuring the storing and packing of goods and materials is in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulations
• Ensure goods are stacked securely on pallets or in cages for transport, using tape, strapping or cling film to secure the load
• Operate computer system for entering details of received supplier invoices
• Liaise with Supervisor and advise on inward check discrepancies on pricing or product identification
• Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation for goods dispatched.
• Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas
• Ensure the warehouse area is neat and tidy

We are currently looking for a local and experienced Forklift Operator for an ASAP start to assist in a busy packing shed based in Katherine East.

SCAFFOLDER (SI / SA) - DEFENCE PROJECT - KATHERINE NT

We require a skilled and experienced Scaffolder to undertake a couple days work on a Defence Fuel Services Project, located outside of Katherine, NT.

Work on site to commence next week (start date 2nd / 3rd October) for an estimated duration of 4-5 days. Due to the nature of the short-term work, we may consider sub-contracting out the work under ABN.

We are after someone who is Darwin or Katherine based and available ASAP. All meals and accommodation are provided on site in camp-style accommodation and paid travel time to/from site included.

In this role you will be required to assemble and dismantle scaffolding, while assisting other tradesmen on site to complete mechanical works, as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experienced Store Person required to undertake all-round warehousing, picking & packing and dispatch duties for a busy material supply business located in Winnellie.

We are looking for applicants with extensive warehousing experience and someone with proven knowledge of the overall day-to-day operations of warehousing who can hit the ground running.

Casual role, fulltime hours, working up to 8hrs per day,
Mon - Fri.

To be suitable, you must have:

- Previous warehousing experience
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Experience with hand held scanners to locate products
- Experience and possess a high level of accuracy when picking/packing orders
- Ability to communicate well with management and peers across the board
- Strong work ethic and be a keen, reliable employee
- General knowledge of construction materials and supplies advantageous to the role

PLUMBERS & MECHANICAL TRADESMEN - NOWRA, NSW

We are looking to hear from skilled and qualified Tradesmen - Plumbers, Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers - to assist with the upgrading, construction and installation of a Waste Water Treatment Facility in Nowra, located in South-Eastern NSW.

Candidates with on site construction experience, working with tanks, pumps, pipes, valves and fl**ge fit up will be highly regarded.

· Project duration 3-4mths (potential to extend further)
· General working roster – 56hrs per week
· Hourly pay rates plus penalties
· Immediate start available

To be considered, you must have the following tickets and licences:

· Australian Drivers Licence
· Construction Safety White Card
· Relevant Trade Qualification

Other additional tickets/licences will be advantageous.
