P&O Australia will be no more.

As of March 2025, P&O Australia will cease to exist. The cruise line will be absorbed into Carnival Cruise Line; with its Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter rebranded as Carnival ships.

Pacific Explorer will leave the fleet in February 2025.

Carnival Corp has confirmed it will continue to operate Splendor, Luminosa, Encounter and Adventure in the Australian market.

Shocked cruisers are already reacting in horror at the closure of the 90 year old brand.
