Happy New Financial Year, everyone! 🎉

I know I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately, but it’s all for an amazing reason—travel has truly exploded in the last 12 months! I’m beyond grateful for all the new and existing clients who have trusted me with their travel plans and allowed me to be a part of so many special memories.

Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of organising some incredible trips, including:

📍 Norway 🇳🇴

While it’s been sunny here in my Perth office, it’s so nice receiving photos from other far away places!

I am loving the raw, untamed beauty of Norway’s nature - towering fjords, snow-capped peaks, and crystalline lakes. These photos were taken just last week by one of my clients and it’s incredible to see so much snow this late in the season!

I’ve been booking a lot of ski and snowboarding holidays the last few months so it’s always fun to see these trips come to life 😍

This week I’ve been working on a lot of Canada and Alaska, Europe, Japan, Japan, Japan, South East Asia, Bali, Bali, Bali and European river cruising. Never a dull day in the office and always grateful to receive photos from your travels 🫶🏻

Still working through a lot of emails & turn around times are a bit slower than I’d like with school holidays & my little patient with me at home, so appreciate all of you being patient with me too 🙏🏼

** BREAKING NEWS **
It has been announced this morning that Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady will not be returning to Australia Waters for the upcoming 2024/25 summer cruise season.

Citing ongoing issues in the Red Sea, Virgin Voyages has announced this morning that their newest ship, the Resilient Lady, will instead temporarily home port in the Caribbean at the conclusion of her upcoming Mediterranean cruise season.

“Resilient Lady will now reposition to her new temporary home in the Caribbean from Athens, where she’ll be sailing 7, 8, 10 and 11-night voyages from San Juan, Puerto Rico.” The new sailings will be available to book from February 29th.

The complete cancellation of the next summer season comes weeks after the removal of Resilient Lady’s local itineraries from the cruise line’s website and booking platforms. Resilient Lady’s upcoming repositioning cruise (from Australia to the Mediterranean) was recently altered, with a new itinerary devised that will see the Lady Ship avoid the Suez Canal and Red Sea, and instead sail to Europe via the west African coast.

Virgin Voyages has said 'With the safety of our Sailors and Crew remaining our #1 priority, and on the heels of our recent changes to Resilient Lady’s Spring ‘24 repositioning voyages, we’ve conducted a full safety and security review of future repositioning voyages through the Red Sea with a range of experts. Given the circumstances, unfortunately, she will instead be sailing in her temporary home of the Caribbean starting next October. We love Australia and have every intention of traveling back in the future when we can safely do so. While we’re sad to have had to make this choice for now, we are very much looking forward to getting back there as soon as possible. But in the best interest of your Sailors, we’re making these adjustments now in order to avoid disruptions in the future — giving them more time to think through alternatives.

Guests affected by the cancellations will be offered a full refund, or an alternate sailing.

As of now - Bali have introduced a “Tourism Tax” or a Bali Tourist Levy to support the sustainability of tourism on the island and generate revenue for cultural and environmental protection funds.

*** This is a separate charge to the e-Visa or Visa On Arrival ✈️ ***

How much is it?
- 10USD or IDR 150,000,
- Payments are cashless, so you must organise payment on the official website prior to arrival and bring your print out as proof of payment OR there are BRI eftpos terminals available at Ngurah Rai Airport and Benoa Harbour.

Virgin Voyages newest lady recently launched in Sydney, before heading south to its current home base in Melbourne for its maiden voyage.

As part of the 4 ship Virgin Voyages fleet, the newest addition is a $1.1 billion beauty - and here to change the way we think of cruising!

Sir Richard Branson doesn’t do things by halves nor does he follow the herd!
Featuring over 20 eateries, 25 bars, a tattoo parlour onboard, group fitness classes, a 255m running track, karaoke, PLUS zero tipping / gratuities and free wifi for all! Just some of the inclusions to expect onboard one of these cruises.

The inaugural season includes itineraries ranging from two- to 14-nights.

- Check your passports validity!
- Renew before June 30, 2024 to avoid further price increases!

There will be price increases of up to 15% on an Australian passport so now is the time to renew to avoid the additional fees!

Being a busy travel period, always remember to check your passports, most countries require you to have a minimum of 6 months validity left on the passport to enter their country from the date of RETURN - not the date of entry.
Children’s passports are only valid for 5 years so handy to double check the kiddos - it comes around quick!
