Wanted: looking to rent/revenue share property to setup Glamping tents inbetween Lancelin and Margaret River: 20 Sep onwards. Can be completely off grid except it needs camping permits, toilets and preferably water supply.

Here are photos from my current build in Exmouth Gulf. Here till 15 Sep in case you want to come witness it! Completely off grid, runs on solar, gas and hard work. Lolz πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€

One thing I'm really proud about is that the entire camp is run on solar power.

Here you can see the fridge/freezer, power station, work light being charged and a powerbank waiting in line. All the structures except the star pickets were free and upcycled... Station gate, rabbit hutch and a TV cabinet. The fridge was lent to me by a friend.

Gagging to make a solar cooker next!!

Glamping accommodation in the Exmouth Gulf!!

It's been a very challenging project, setting up an off grid, luxury site but we just opened with space for 4 glamping tents.

Thank you to the historic Giralia station for providing us a site despite everything in Exmouth and Coral bay being booked out.

Giralia is set on 650,000 acres and has 70km of beach frontage.

'Australian Savannah Glamping' is now open for bookings.

My latest project is to showcase the deep raw beauty of the Australian outback splaterred with a little bit of luxury.

Located on the historic Giralia station in the Exmouth Gulf, are 4 tents situated on the high sand dunes on a 650,000 acre property that is so large it has 70km of beachfrontage.

The dunes offer a spectacular 360 degree view of the Australian Savannah. The sunrise and sunsets over the red soil will leave you mesmerised and the night sky with all the stars will leave you spellbound. Each tent has a chill zone and a fire pit with grill.

We are halfway between Coral Bay and Exmouth. There's no accommodation in the region for the next two months so I went out and created some πŸ˜‰

It has been an ambitious project, full of challenges due to it being completely off grid in an unforgiving and remote destination. But there, I've done it and it's spectacular.

Thank you for the design, sourcing, support and everything else even though you're on holidayze. Thank you Sergio and Anthony for the build.

Thanks to the Blake family for giving me the opportunity to be on their lands.

Thank you to Georgia and her friends for being the first to try it out and the photos.

Last Glamping client in Perth untill I move North for winter. Made some amazing design progress with input from pavicic and for the lighting.

Looking for a site to put up the tents Coral Bay and beyond. So come adventure with us up there until I return in September.

We are taking bookings in Perth post September for all events: birthdays, anniversaries and weddings.

We started the Margaret River Adventure and Chill weekend with a didge session in a secluded cave. The acoustics was another level.

The next day we went rock climbing in Bob's Hollow. The 3D nature of the climb with all the cave-y bits (I believe that is the technical term, lolz!) was amazing. Adel also found some nice rock pools that were calms as compared to the big, smashy shore waves.

We came home to a hot spa that we left on for the rest of the night and then again on the chill Sunday... More photos to come...

One of the most incredible experiences of my life was the Bush Survival course I ran last weekend.

1. We slept in the bush for two nights, on 3 inches of leaves, on a yoga mat, with only a badly hung tarp as a roof.
2. Learnt how to make fire πŸ”₯ without matches in 5 different ways, including in wet weather
3. Learnt how to find water by studying the landscape, vegetation, bird flight patterns and animal tracks
4. The importance of a knife and how to sharpen it.
5. Importance of cordage/rope and the most important knots
6. How to build snares. Dispatching some chickens bought tears and was very confronting but we all agreed if you gonna eat meat, you have to wo/man up and face that it's a life you're taking.
7. Cooked some true blue Aussie damper and some insanely good food. We decided against survivor rations for the weekend course.

Most importantly, under starry skies we talked at length how it's illegal to be human anymore. We aren't allowed to sleep in nature, forage for edible plants, hunt/fish etc without someone looking over your shoulder and demanding to see a license of some sort. Complete dumbing down of society, where they don't want you to think, just follow the increasing amount of rules without thinking. Everything is provided to you at the swipe of a credit card.

Massive Thank You to Terry Hewett, ex SAS, at Adventure Out Australia for sharing his knowledge with us. 2 days on, I'm still getting messages from the participants (and now my besties) about the learning experience. Life skills and knowledge in a very fun, bonding experience.

And a special thanks to Jeff Robson for taking the time out to be at each one of my events! As a friend and a small business your support and friendship is invaluable! Thank you for some of the incredible photos below.

Next Bush Survivor course is Fri 23-25 June. https://m.facebook.com/events/342461497349737

The Dark Moon sound healing was just fabulous. Loved the emotional response people, even the sceptics and first timers, had just from the power of the frequencies and sounds from the crystal bowls and the meditative journey Amoura's beautiful voice took us through.

On our Margaret River trip, 23-26 April we will also have a gong and perhaps a didge! That's gonna be a journey!

-- Survival Guide --

* 5 ways to make a fire without matches
* Can you find North with only a stick and a couple of rocks?
* Did you know that (in case of a snake bite) tying an arterial tourniquet too tight might mean you have to amputate the limb?

A few key skills and knowledge could one day save your life or that of a loved one. This 11 page guide covers the basics like prioritising, mindset, shelter, water, fire, food, tools, knots, survival kits and a whole lot more. A detailed book would be hundreds of pages long; instead, the aim of this guide is to give a beginner a logical framework and an overview with links to credible sources.

This is meant to be a companion booklet to our upcoming Bush Survival course on 16-18 April 2021. More info here: Facebook or Website. For feedback or if you want to make a paypal donation (A$5 suggested) please use [email protected].

The scariest parts of yesterday are the best memories of today.

Check out the fall and swing on this climb by Narelle The Brave. Good on Jeff for sending it.

Before that I had to set up an abseil then walk over the cliff edge to simultaneously set up two climbs. I had the equipment, knowledge and person to check the setup, but it's still a fear in my mind that I struggle to overcome. But after it's done... the sense of achievement and ability to fight your fears is amazing!
