While you're waiting for the White Water Centre to be built, get the adrenaline pumping this weekend at Wellington Dam Collie.

Harvey Water have advised that there will be a max flow 450ML+ water release from the Wellington Dam on the Collie on Saturday 24 August from first light until approximately 5pm on Sunday 25 August.

The Collie is a technical white water river with multiple channels, potential hazards and grade 2-3 rapids. It’s essential that if you haven’t paddled it before you go with a group who know your skill level and know the lines.

Exciting news! Thanks to Rob Riggir's incredible stewardship, we are very close to finalising a preliminary Business Plan and moving on to the next stage of this project. We could not have done this without the support of the many volunteers who have given their time and skills over the years. We have never been closer and now is the time to share and donate towards stage 2. All monies received go towards the ongoing development of the project. Perth needs a White Water Centre!

Burswood Park are planning to transform this area into an exciting and iconic destination and are asking the public to give their suggestions!

Please take the community survey to support the PWWC before Thursday the 5th March 2020.

Paddle WA and the Perth Whitewater Centre committee believe this to be the ideal location for the construction of a whitewater centre, and would like to ask everyone to complete the survey and mention the whitewater centre as much as possible. The committee have faced many challenges trying to build this centre, and while it may still be some time before the next big step, the outcome of this survey could work to our advantage.
