Here are a couple of snapshots from our exciting weekend! 📸

In the first photo, we had the pleasure of hosting the Seymour Probus Group, who hired one of our self-drive buses for a week of exploration around Warrnambool and Port Fairy. It was a joy taking them back to the train station after their memorable trip!

The second photo captures Trevor and his family and friends enjoying a delightful day at Keeyang Maar Winery in Dixie, celebrating Trevor's wife's birthday. 🍷🎂

But that's not all! Over the weekend, we were bustling with activity. Three of our buses traveled to Melbourne, one to Lorne, and we had various trips for wedding transfers, birthday parties, and self-drive adventures.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful customers for being fantastic to work with, and an even bigger thank you to our hardworking bus drivers for ensuring everyone reached their destinations safely.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team? Look no further! Due to our expansion, we are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

1. Full-Time Taxi Driver:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5:30pm (with overtime and weekend options available)
Requirements: Physically fit, full automatic car license, current driver's certificate or willingness to obtain one, and most importantly, a great personality!
Benefits: Full-time role with above award wage, holiday pay, sick leave, and negotiable wage based on experience.

2. Casual Admin Staff:
Hours: Flexible, between 9am-3pm, 15-30 hours per week or 3-5 days.
Requirements: Exceptional organizing skills, positive attitude, experience with Xero (an advantage but not essential).
Benefits: Casual position with negotiable pay based on experience.

3. Casual Bus Drivers:
Hours: mid-week and weekend shifts.
Requirements: LR truck license (MR or HR an advantage), excellent driver skills, positive attitude.
Benefits: Rates negotiable based on experience.
4. Casual Limo Driver:

Requirements: Comfortable wearing a suit, exceptionally clean with good time management, LR truck license, driver's certificate or willingness to obtain one.
Benefits: Competitive pay and a chance to be part of a prestigious team.

A Massive Shoutout to Our Incredible Getabus Drivers! 🙌

Over the weekend, our drivers went above and beyond the call of duty! From shuttling guests to folk festival weddings to ensuring safe transport for nearly 200 people to the Pitch Music Festival in Moyston. Despite the extreme heat and unexpected challenges, you all handled the situation with professionalism and dedication.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your hard work and commitment to getting everyone home safely, especially given the difficulties with communication and changing schedules due to the event's unexpected cancellation. Your efforts did not go unnoticed!

I also want to express my disappointment with the organizers of the Pitch Festival for not prioritizing the safety of attendees and for their failure to provide adequate refunds despite the clear fire risks identified by the CFA. Additionally, a big shoutout to the Ararat City Council for their negligence in maintaining the road conditions to and from the festival site.

Thank you once again, Getabus drivers, for your outstanding efforts and for being the backbone of our company. You are truly appreciated! 🌟
