ITINERARY IN BRIEF:

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HO CHI MINH ½ CITY TOUR (D)

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam!

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, we pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in if room is available (normal check-in time is after 14h00, early check-in is not included)

In the afternoon, we will visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeingthe beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the city such as Opeara House, City Hall, Ben Thanh Market.
Have dinner at the restaurant and Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA RIVER (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel, 08:30am our tourguide and driver will pick you up at hotel and drive to visit My Tho city. With boat trip on Tien River, you will be excited by the light breeze from the river and the natural beauty of four beautiful islands such as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise along the riverside. Cruise through the small canal by sampan, treating yourself to the beauty of the countryside, and taking a short cycling around the village which will certainly be an unforgettable experience when participating in the Mekong Delta tour. Visit the coconut candy workshop, and enjoy seasonal delicious fruits & honey tea. Get a chance to listen to the Southern Vietnamese folk music which is performed by local people.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Have lunch and dinner at the restaurant and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNEL – FREE SHOPPING (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel,
08:30am we pick you up at hotel for Cu Chi will take you an approximately one and a half-hour bus drive. Before exploring the tunnels, you will watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were made and how Vietnamese people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining areas and tunnel system which include special living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for the security purpose during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerrillas’ food during the war) will be served. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
You are free to relax or shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY fly to HANOI ½ CITY TOUR (B,L,D) – morning flight
Breakfast at hotel,
Check out hotel, we will pick you up and transfer to the airport for flight to Ha Noi.
Arrival in Hanoi, our tourguide pick up and transfer to hotel for refreshment or check-in if room is available ((normal check-in time is after 14h00, early check-in is not included).
Have lunch at the restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will do Hanoi city tour, we will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), have a green car ride journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance to view Hanoian life. We will stop to visit St Joseph’s Cathedral, or “The Big Church” familiarly called by the locals, is one of the first structures constructed by French colonists during their expansion in Indochina and still intact in Hanoi after two fierce wars. Walking few minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters. and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple, Ly Thai To King Statue.

Have dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 5: HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI (B,L,D)
Have breakfast at hotel.
08:00am we take a 90km driving south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Further discovery in Ninh Binh will be continued by visiting B**h D**g Pagoda. Afternoon drive back Hanoi, on the way, stop to visit Hoa Lu, the site that used to be the kings’ palace in 10th century and now famous for the wooden relieves of the shady Dinh and Le temples. Late afternoon back to Hanoi. Have lunch and dinner at the restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 6: HANOI – HALONG BAY - HANOI (B,L,D)
Breafkast at hotel,
08:00am we will pick you up and transfer to Halong Bay - one of the earliest World Heritages Sited designated by UNESCO for Vietnam in 1994. Check-in our boat and enjoy a lunch on the boat while the boat goes about unusual seascape with thousands picturesque rocks and islets, beaches and hollow islands. We can stop to visit some karsts grottoes. In the late afternoon, we transfer back to Hanoi for dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 7: HANOI – DEPARTURE (B)

Check out hotel before 12:00, we will pick you up and transfer to the airport for flight back to home. End of services!
