Bhutan is a small landlocked country located in the eastern Himalayas, bordered by China to the north and India to the south, east, and west. It is known for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and the concept of Gross National Happiness.

Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest, is one of the most famous and iconic landmarks in Bhutan. It is located in the Paro Valley and is perched on the side of a cliff, about 900 meters above the valley floor. The monastery is a sacred site in Bhutan and holds great religious significance. It is believed to be the place where Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, meditated in the 8th century.

Visiting Taktsang Monastery involves a trekking journey. The trail takes you through beautiful forests and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The hike usually takes a few hours, depending on your fitness level. Once you reach the monastery, you can explore its various temples, prayer halls, and meditation caves.
