Tourism Council of Bhutan hereby notifies that the visit to Changangkha Lhakhang for all tourists will remain closed for the next three months with immediate effect from 7th June 2019 until further notice. This is issued in the interest of the safety of the tourists and also to facilitate the following ongoing urgent and important works:
i. Conduct of important religious events
ii. Maintenance works
iii. Construction of ticketing booth

Also like to inform that entry fee will be introduced with the reopening of the visit.

Inconvenience caused is highly regretted.

Secondly, it has become urgent that we rededicate our commitment to uphold the timeless policy of "High-Value Low Volume" for the happiness of our Kingdom. After all, the tagline of our tourism is - "Happiness is a Place."
