🤫🤫 Pstttttt…Did you hear? Disney Cruise Line’s new island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is open! 🌴🛳️Located on the Bahamian Island of Eluthera 🇧🇸, this new port was developed with environmental protection and cultural inclusion at the forefront 🌿🌀, so you’ll immediately notice a few differences from Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

For starters, the 1/2 mile long walk to the island is to preserve the natural reef. Now, if you’re no stranger to 🏰Walt Disney World, those steps won’t seem like much, but for some it could be a little daunting.😅 It for sure changes how I recommend my clients pack and prepare for the day 🎒. For starters, apply sunscreen before disembarking and wear comfortable shoes. Then, based on my client’s travel party, I might suggest bringing a portable Bluetooth speaker to listen to music and the waves while you walk. 3 songs sounds soooooo much shorter than 1/3 a mile, amiright?

🎃 I can’t believe I forgot to post this Tuesday 🤦🏼‍♀️but … on July 16th in 1993, Hocus Pocus was released in theaters. Halloween in July seemed to be so crazy that it worked.
🧙‍♀️🕯️🧹 It’s not just me, right? It’s a little weird that the movie Hocus Pocus was released in July, don’t you think? But here we are, celebrating it today AND we’ll do it all over again in October! 😜🎃
We have TWO SETS now. Which do YOU prefer: the OG movie Sanderson Sisters or the Minnie, Daisy and Clarabell version?

🤩🌵🌤️ I’m not sure there’s another Disney resort who has more of a glow up than Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. What was once just a sprawling moderate resort with a cool feature pool is now two resorts in one! You still have that cool Aztec vibe with the exterior entry rooms and central gathering place for food. Then in 2019, Gran Destino Tower took things to a whole new level-literally. This high rise tower has all the bells & whistles while still remaining an affordable resort.

🤩🛝🐇If you only ever go down one more slide in your life, make it this one! The Oceaneer’s Club on the Disney Wish is accessible via an “Alice in Wonderland” themed slide. Here’s the catch, adults sailing on the Disney Wish, only have one chance to take advantage of sliding down the rabbit hole during the club’s Open House hours on embarkation day. So don’t hesitate if you want to channel your inner child. No worries, the stairs or elevators are always an option if slides don’t equal fun to you.

😬Do you know when Walt Disney World crowds can be the most manageable? During some of the hottest months of the year! 🥵 If you can handle the heat, here are some of the best places and some ways to avoid as Mater says, “dang near fainting”:

• Connections Eatery at EPCOT: This place is massive and a great place to sit and regroup, AND it has Starbucks! 🧋

• Upper level of PizzeRizzo at Hollywood Studios: Did you know there was an upper level?! There’s usually not many people up there, it’s nice and cool, there are lots of outlets to recharge your devices, and pizza! 🍕

• Cooling neck towels: A lifesaver when the sun is bearing down and moods are starting to wilt. 🥀

• A solid touring strategy: Rope drop, rest mid-day, come back for evenings (and schedule a table-service lunch for a break during the hottest time of day) 📝

📌 One last tip: work with ME! I know exactly how hot it gets, where to go, what to do and when to do it so everyone keeps smiling and having fun!

🤠🧁🍌“Go ahead...Bake My Day.” LOL! Want to make your Minion-loving kid’s day? Be sure to haul your bananas over to Universal Studios’ Bake My Day bakery. This “sweet” location opened 12 years ago TODAY!! Sure it’s got seemingly endless sweet treats like that classic Minon Roll, but it also has the cutest, dare I say FLUFFIEST merchandise. 🦄

🚨 WORD OF ADVICE: If you see something here you want, GET IT. A lot of that merchandise can’t be found anywhere else at Universal. OK, I told you what I would get, your turn!

It’s STITCH DAY!!!

Did you know June 26th… aka 6/26 is known as Stit h day as he is ?!
Stitch is so so SOOOOOOO popular at the parks and on Disney Cruise Line, but do you want to hear something crazy? I “didn’t get it”. 🤭
What was this trouble makers hold on people? He is bad bad bad ! Well…. He is definitely mischievous but when you see him at 5 feet tall he is also undeniably adorable. His big grin, the lei! He just melts hearts and he is one of the best character meet and greets as well. Even my oldest son was smitten and asked for a pirate stitch stuffy to remember their meeting 🥰

Today, Disney Cruise Line released two seasons of thrilling itineraries, spanning sailings from fall 2025 to spring 2026.

Bookings open to the public on June 28, 2024.

Four ships, the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Dream, will regularly sail to one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s signature island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, offering voyages filled with even more Disney magic.

New life goal unlocked.
Today aboard the as a group of Disney Travel Professionals from all over, who will get to be the first to put their feet on the ground at Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!
They will be the first to see the new layout, meet the characters in their new Bahamian outfits, try all the food and drink all the drinks!
colour me jealous ! But at least if I can’t be there myself, I’ll be able to follow along on social media today from my rainy location at home.

We hear Tiana has sent the invites out for her big Mardi Gras celebration!

Well don’t fret because we’ve got all the things guests need to know before riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when the attraction opens on June 28 at Walt Disney World.

Tips on How to Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Drop on in-to virtual queue...
When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, it will use a virtual queue. Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, we expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening... or purchase Disney Genie+ service.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+ service.

No party is complete without pictures. As guests make their way through the bayou to get to Tiana’s party, Disney PhotoPass Service will serve up a special photo when they’re almost there.

Oh Boy! Disney unveiled the name of their newest cruise ship earlier today!
The Disney Destiny, sister to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, will have a first-of-its-kind design theme, “Heroes and Villains,” drawing on the legacies of beloved Disney stories, characters and theme park attractions.
Onboard, guests will encounter heroes and villains alike – including those from beloved Walt Disney Animation stories like “The Lion King,” “Hercules” and “One Hundred and One Dalmatians” – within spaces, experiences and entertainment throughout their voyage.
