Did you know that Parks Canada-PEI and the Epekwitnewaq Mi'kmaq have collaborated and developed a plan together to help recover and protect species at risk and culturally significant species on Parks Canada -administered sites on ?

The Multi-Species Action Plan focuses on recovery strategies aims to build Canadians’ awareness and support for conservation.

It is now your turn to have your say: the Multi-Species Acton Plan is now POSTED for a 60-day comment period on the Species at Risk Public Registry.

It's !

Province House National Historic Site has been undergoing an extensive conservation project. Built over 175 years ago, Province House is a complex building and presents the unique challenge of rehabilitating the structure, while respecting its heritage character-defining elements.

Completed in 1847, Province House was built in neo-classical style by local architect Isaac Smith to accommodate the provincial legislature and administrative offices. It also housed the Island’s Supreme Court until 1872.
