Get to know our vendor Two Beggars with us!

Q: What is unique about Two Beggars?
A: It's a locally made pet shop featuring a variety of products for dogs and cats, including leashes, collars, bandanas, toys, treats, and more—all handmade right here in PEI. What makes us unique is that we also carry gifts for pet lovers, like mugs, plaques, T-shirts, and pebble art. We even have a memorial section with thoughtful items like urns and memory stones. But our real signature feature? The Treat Window, where we open up to hand out treats to visiting dogs!

Q: What inspired you to start Two Beggars?
A: In the beginning, I only made treats for my own dogs, one of whom was quite sick and didn't eat well. Then I started selling them at Charlottetown Farmers Market. I started adding items, first bandanas, then leashes and collars, and just kept adding from there. When Founders was in the planning stages, I looked into it. I was nervous to go from 1 day a week, to a full time shop, but I jumped in anyway.

Q: If someone is shopping at Two Beggars for the first time what is a must have/try?
A: I would recommend my bacon cheddar treats that are a huge hit at the Treat Window, or any of the PEI made freeze-dried treats I carry. Or a cookie or bandanas for any and every occasion!

Q: What is your inspiration behind each product?
A: My passion is the driving force behind my panini creations, inspiring me to:
• Create exceptional products paired with a unique service experience
• Offer a one-of-a-kind journey, allowing Island residents to immerse themselves in a Panini experience with the finest ingredients and flavours
• Contribute to the growth of Prince Edward Island’s economy, making it a top choice for both residents and tourists.

Q: What is something people don’t know about Aldo Renys?
A: The secret behind Aldo Reny’s are my past experience with world-wide known Chefs during my earlier career years; Gordon Ramsay, Marco Pierre White, Roux Brothers together with my knowledge of the gastronomy I work continuously on creation of new recipes. This approach is actually a Research & Development process for Aldo Reny’s to create and expand new selections, product types and services for the future.

Q: What Panini would you recommend to a first time visitor?
A:Each panini has its own balance of taste, thoughtfully and meticulously crafted to perfection, with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring the best experience.
I always suggest that first-time visitors choose a panini with ingredients they already enjoy, for the best introduction, especially if they have specific flavor preferences.
Many visitors who enjoy exploring different flavors often begin with the first menu item and continue to try the next one on each subsequent visit.

Q: What inspired you to start Caraz?
A: I grew up enjoying unique flavours of sweets and juices back home in the Middle East, and when I moved to Canada, and did not find these flavour on offer, I decided to do it myself and transport people to a world of flavours that may be new to them.

Q:What is unique about your product ?
A: What’s unique is that we offer you an experience to try our carefully crafted juices and cakes, all the ingredients are home made with love!

Q: What would you like first time visitors to know about Caraz?
A: Our healthy fresh juices and fruit salads are made of 100 percent fresh and natural ingredients, Caraz offers a wide range of delights suitable for all dietary needs, giving you guilt free joy inspired from around the world!
