Villa Acadienne

Villa Acadienne is a Home for Special Care, situated along beautiful St. Mary's Bay in the Acadian Municipality of Clare. These beds must be booked in advance.

What began as a 45 resident Home in 1975 has expanded to an 84 permanent bed facility. There are also 2 respite beds available for short-term care. Villa Acadienne recognizes the need for increased specialized care in long-term care facilities and is striving to meet this need in our community. To assure that the quality of care required by the residents is provided, there is an interdisciplinary

team of health care providers including nursing, nutrition, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, recreational and pastoral care. Visiting hours are from 12:00 to 8:00 pm in resident rooms but you may visit with residents at any time in one of the common areas.

We had the pleasure of meeting our Premier Tim Houston, Minister Colton LeBlanc (MLA Argyle) and newly elected PC representative for Clare, Ryan Robicheau during the Congrès Mondiale Acadien.

We are happy to share that our most recent Covid Outbreak has been closed! We are re-open to the public. Masks are no longer mandatory but will remain at the entrance, for those who wish to wear one.

We ask that you do not visit when feeling unwell.
