For those contemplating joining me on an end-to-end bike tour from Goderich to Guelph, here are a few essential tips to ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey:
* Invest in Your Bike: Whether it’s tuning up your current ride or investing in a new one, make sure your bike is in top-notch condition. Visit your local bike shop for expert advice on maintenance or to explore new bike options. It’s a worthwhile investment for a comfortable and trouble-free ride.
* Training Routine: To prepare for the tour, aim to ride approximately 20-30 kilometers at least twice a week, although I highly recommend bumping it up to three times for optimal conditioning. Consistent training will help build endurance and ensure you’re ready for the distance.
* Dress Comfortably: While I don’t adhere to the full cyclist gear attire, it’s essential to dress comfortably for the ride. Focus on breathable fabrics and layering for variable weather conditions. Remember, this isn’t a race, so prioritize comfort over style.

I woke up with Alice Wallace’s songs in my heart from her mesmerizing live performance. It was as though each note had embraced every inch of my being, leaving an unforgettable experience. I would have to agree. It’s been a very long time since I’ve stopped at a gas station to fill up. It’s a routine I don’t miss one bit. Let’s ride this summer and have a gas free experience, cause gas sucks😁.
