📍- Pincushion Mountain, Peachland
Pincushion Mountain Park is located in Peachland and offers some of the best views of Okanagan Lake in the valley. Noted as a difficult hike, it’s important to wear proper footwear, bring a walking stick, water, and watch for slippery stones and loose gravel. There are multiple rest stops along the way. At the top, you are awarded with sweeping views of the valley.
Remember, watch for the trail markers, be bear ware, follow the Leave-No-Trace Principles, and enjoy the beauty.

Local Love For Kelowna • Maxwell Brayer
Local Love For Kelowna - Maxwell Brayer
“Being in the wine industry, it’s fascinating talking with people from other wine-producing regions and hearing them compare and contrast our Okanagan wine with their local wine,” he says, adding that visitors provide “interesting ideas I might never have considered” when it comes to food and wine pairings. He is also reminded not to take what he has, as an area local, for granted.
Canada’s Youngest Top Sommelier, Maxwell Brayer, was drawn to the Okanagan for the lifestyle and his love for wine. He joined @arrowleafcellars in 2021, dedicating his time and energy to learning everything he could about the industry. A short three years later, Max’s growing wealth of wine knowledge has earned him recognition on the national stage.

Earth Day 2024
By way of traditional knowledge and principles passed down through generations, the syilx / Okanagan people have taken great care of the tmxʷulaxʷ (land) on which Kelowna resides since time immemorial.
This Earth Day 2024, we invite you to explore the traditional, unceded territory of the syilx / Okanagan people, showing all the region’s living things—commonly referred to as tmixʷ in the nsyilxcen language—the deep respect and care they deserve. Slow down. Take your time to appreciate the beauty of these lands. Look for ways to preserve this beauty for generations to come.
