Accessibility Needs Survey
The Town of Shelburne, Municipality of Shelburne, and Town of Lockeport want to hear from you!
We created Accessibility Plans in 2022, to identify, prevent and eliminate barriers faced by people with disabilities in accessing Municipal and Town programs, services, and spaces.
Share your thoughts for improving accessibility by taking our online or print survey. Responses to the survey will help us update our Accessibility Plans in 2025.
Note: There is the option to provide your contact details at the end of the survey to be entered into a draw to win one of two Gift Cards to Sobey’s! ($50 value each.)

You can also pickup print surveys or drop-off completed print surveys at the locations listed below.
Print survey pickup and drop-off locations:
• The Municipality of Shelburne Administration Building at 414 Woodlawn Drive, Shelburne, Monday-Friday between 9am and 4:30pm
• The Town of Shelburne Office at 162 Mowatt St., 2nd floor (Post Office Building), Shelburne, Monday-Friday between 9am and 3pm
• The Town of Lockeport Office at 26 North Street, Lockeport, Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 4pm

This means the Duct Tape Boat Races are also postponed and will take place on Friday, August 16 at 6pm from Freddy's Beach. The Town Wide Yard Sale however, will still be held this Saturday, August 10 starting at 10 a.m. Contact Lockeport Rec. Dept. if you need to borrow tables or want a spot to set up.

Due to the incoming weather system and the safety of all participants and boats we have decided to postpone the Lockeport Sea Derby until Aug 16-18th.

More information about new Registration dates will be posted Monday night.

Harmony Bazaar is coming up quickly and for the next two days, we're reaching out to ask for help with set up. The earth is getting a drink of water today and tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., we plan to start putting up the yellow fence at Seacaps Park. The basic plan is to start around 10am tomorrow and Thursday for folks who can come in the morning. We'll likely take the afternoons mostly off to avoid the high level UV rays. Then back at it around 5 p.m. with folks who can help in the evening. Many hands really do make light work, so if you've got a little time to share, please either just show up or call Fran for more information (902-875-6070).
