Hello to all my fellow equestrian athletes out there. At the moment I'm really focusing on creating sport psychology content specifically tailored to equestrian athletes so that I can help more equestrians overcome their performance blocks. If you could take a moment to leave a comment below, or message me with whatever your biggest struggle is right now, I promise to do my very best to help you solve that problem!

I've been having so much fun working with Chris and her new lease over the past few months. Chris always inspires me with her dedication to detail and her willingness to really work on the basics and build a strong foundation before moving forwards.

I'm missing this beautiful guy a lot today! It's amazing how, no matter how much time goes by, you still miss your old horses like you said goodbye to them yesterday.

Equestrian + Psychology

I consider myself very lucky to have had the opportunity to build a business around two of my passions: competitive equestrian sport and the wonders of the human mind. After over ten years of experience coaching many wonderful riders and horses in dressage, showjumping and three-day eventing, Annika now combines her coaching knowledge with an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology to specialize in teaching equestrians about the mental skills behind successful and enjoyable performance and participation in equestrian sport.

You can find more information about Annika’s Sport Psychology work at www.annikamcgivern.com.

Annika is currently based in Ireland, but works with riders in Ireland, the UK and Canada via zoom to help them achieve success and enjoyment of their sport without the emotional rollercoaster, self-doubt and fear of failure that so often plagues equestrians!
