My picture “Underwater Harmony and Chaos” has been selected among many beautiful pictures submitted at the 11th annual
Natural World Photography Competition, the California Academy of Sciences
and won the first prize in the category Winged Life

Observing a gannet falling head down, wings tightened to the body, breaking the surface of the cold sea like a torpedo, leaving behind a flow of bubbles, and then "flying" underwater, pulling its aerodynamic body with the powerful and long wings to overcome the water resistance, is something totally unpredictable.
Being underwater, you will never know in advance where they will end up.

In the picture, somebody is looking for a different point of view, that of the prey 😂
It will be an active trip : we will share water and emotions with predators and preys, in five different destinations in Baja California Sur, dip in the energy and movements they spread all over the warm clear water.
I do not know another place in the wild where we can easily share the ocean with so many different species and beauty.
Anyone who enjoys wildlife and active vacations is welcome to participate in the tour, not just those with cameras like the guy in the picture.

Where next ?
Where could you swim with the largest turtle with certainty ! Do you want to try ?

Leatherback sea turtles it is 5,5 cm long at birth, but adults can reach up to 250 cm in length !
While it is easier to observe them on the beaches during the laying of eggs, it is rare -rather unique- to snorkel by their side. From what I know, only two operators organize the trip.
These experiences need to be lived with all senses, an open mind and soul.
We’ll be there in November 2024 : join us !
