💫 It is time... for us to turn the page! For the last 11 years we have brought thousands of international students to different destinations all over Estonia, to Lapland and St. Petersburg. ✨

We have had around 20 amazing group leaders who took care of every single traveler! We have had strong and reliable partners during all these semesters. We have had great management team (Merci Made & Etienne).

It is time to give the floor to Timetravels! Join the trips they have designed for you, it’s totally worth it, and see if you find some Mareti group leaders at their departures!

Huge thank you to everyone who came to our trips or who knew the names Mareti and Marmot! Thank you ESN Tallinn and other ESN sections in Estonia! It has been a great journey! We started strong and we finish stronger! ✨

And thank you for joining the ESN Old Town tour yesterday! It was amazing to give you this tour! Unexpectedly many people, but we did it! Enjoy the semester!

It's time for your next adventure! 🎒
Mareti is ready for this semester! Here you can read more about the trips we have planned for you!

🤸‍♀️ Mareti team will meet you already on Saturday 29 January for the ESN Old Town tour on Freedom Square at 12pm and then at ESN Movie Night next Wednesday, on 02 February in Forum Cinemas.

💚 We will open the registration on Thursday, 03 February at 10am but you can already create your account in our system (trip.mareti.ee) in order to be ready to choose fast your favorite trips and dates!

So, what to expect from Mareti this semester? 🤩
💫 We'll start with hike in Paljassaare peninsula on 05 February (Saturday)
💫 Then we go to check out the biggest Waterfalls of Estonia together with a bus tour in Tallinn on 12.February (Saturday)
💫 And week after that, it's time to visit abandoned soviet prison in Rummu on 19 February (Saturday).
💫 March will bring us the Lapland trips - the day is longer bust there is still a lot of snow there, many activities, food and visits. Check out the program from mareti.ee.
💫 In March and April it's time to discover Estonia in more detail. We have amazing Saaremaa Island trip and trips Around Estonia coming - all time favorites with rich programme and good atmosphere.

Let us know if you have any questions about the trips, traveling in Estonia and if you need some recommendations from locals! All our trips bring you to different destinations, with a lot of stories shared, and there will be always good/traditional/local food included!
It's a super easy way of traveling with locals and meet new friends!

December has just started and Visit Tallinn has a great Christmas calendar for the time when Santa's little helpers check how well you behave! 🎅
Every day at 8am a new window opens and gives you a gift. Keep your eye on it. Perhaps there is a free entrance to a museum you have not been to yet.
The secret code is Visit Tallinn when using the gift and there is a different gift every day!

To go or not to go. This has been the most difficult question and decision Mareti has had during the last 10 years of bringing travelers to Lapland, St.Petersburg and around Estonia.

We decided not to go this semester for a reason. Please take a moment to read and think.

The covid situation in Estonia is not good. We have the highest number of covid cases per capita in Europe. Our hospitals are full of covid patients. The Health Board and the Government have asked people to act responsibly and reduce contacts, to stop the virus from spreading.

This is exactly what we are doing. Not even one life is worth loosing compared to going to travel and having fun when we have something like this happening around us. We have decided to take pause and continue soon again, once the virus situation is under control.

We are really sorry for all the unhappy feelings. Words can not describe how we feel about this all. But we stay safe and strong for next departures in the future.

Everyone who had paid for Mareti trips to Lapland this semester have received 100% refund.
Big hugs to everyone from Mareti team, Mariane and Made. Thank you for traveling with us and thank you for understanding.
We will travel again!

Our trip Around Estonia #1 has started it's third day today and the trip #2 will depart on Friday. If you still doubt in joining or not, then ask advice from your friends who are at the trip right now. So many good memories, visits and emotions collected. The registration is open until Monday (tomorrow, trip.mareti.ee), grab a friend with you and join our next/last trip Around Estonia. It really is the best and easiest way to see the most important highlights with local guides, all prearranged and organized for you. Just join and enjoy. Let us know if you have any questions, but for sure it is worth to spend your next weekend with Mareti trips!

New week, new Mareti trips destinations!

This Saturday we will visit the former military island NAISSAAR! After the cruise, we have a local guide who will take us by Soviet truck to:
⚡ USSR military mine stockyard
⚡ railway of the island
⚡ ruins of the mysterious battery no. 4 or no. 6
⚡ top-secret Soviet military base
⚡ fortresses and underground tunnels
⚡ enjoy breathtaking views of the island
⚡ eat lunch on the island

We have a few spots left for this departure. Registration closes on Wednesday!
Seriously, it's not a trip to skip! 🤸‍♂️
