Would like to visit the churches of Lalibela next weekend?

Our trip to the Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela starts from 4 of June to 6 Sunday for 2 night and 3 days. We will Fly to Lalibela on Ethiopian Airlines 700 kilometers north of Addis Ababa.

2 Night / 3 Days

Day 1: Fly to Lalibela
Up On arrival, meet our car at the airport and transfer to the town of Lalibela. In this Day, visit the first group of churches of Lalibela. There are no less than 200 churches in the Lasta Region of Lalibela, some hidden in enormous caves, but it's exceptional to find 11 churches of such master craftsmanship in one locale. These brilliant feats of engineering and architecture are often referred to as the "Eighth wonder of the world". The churches are said to have been constructed during King Lalibela’s reign during the 12th and 13th centuries when Lalibela (then known as Roha) was the capital of the Zagwe dynasty.

Day 2: Lalibela
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion out of town to Asheten Mariam or Neakuto Leab.

In the afternoon, visit the Second group of the churches representing the heavenly Jerusalem. In this group are the Bete Gabriel & Raphael, Bete Merquorios, Bete Emmanuel, and Bete Abba Libanos. Finally, visit the most interesting cross-shaped church of Bete Giorgis (St. George), which is said to be the symbolization of Noah’s arc. The cruciform-shaped Bete Giorgis is the most perfect and beautiful church here; its interior is dominated by depictions of Saint George killing the dragon.

Day 3: Fly back to Addis Ababa
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa. On arrival in Addis Ababa, transfer to your place.

2nd round tour to the northern part of Ethiopia. Gondar and Bahir Dar

This Ethiopian tour leads to the rich historical sites of Ethiopia passes through scenic highlands, gorges and spectacular panoramas. The boat cruise on Lake Tana to visit the aged monasteries and the scenic drive to Tiss Issat village for the fabulous Blue Nile falls and the famous royal compound of Gonder known as the Camelot of Africa can be a vat site.

Day 1 - fly to Gondar
Upon arrival our car will wait you at Gondar airport right away drive about 24Km.

Visit Imperial Castle Compound of Gondar, the ‘Bath of Emperor Fasiladas’ Residence of Empress Mintwab, the church of Debre Birhan Selassie.

After visiting Gondar city we will drive to Bahir dar about 3hrs to the scenic of Ethiopia
Overnight :Bahir Dar

Day 2 - excursion Lake Tena and Blue Nile falls
After having an open air breakfast in our hotel - take a Boat trip to Lake Tana. Visit one of the gorgeous monastery(Ura Kidanemhret). After lunch drive to the Blue Nile Falls.
at night fly back to Addis.
