The Peacock Plume publishes content via The Plume, Peacock Magazine and Peacock Play. The Plume publishes online short-form blogs and articles weekly, covering campus news, lifestyle, fashion, travel, food, and arts and culture. The Peacock Magazine is produced each semester, featuring long-form journalism and reporting on the vibrancy of youth culture in Paris. Past editions available on the Plum

This Thursday - come to an AUP film screening of "Madan Sara," in partnership with Black and Abroad. The documentary is produced by Street Team Productions and Kombit Productions, and covers the role of market women in Haiti within Haitian economy and society. Don't miss it!

Announcing our most-anticipated event: the End-of-Semester and Magazine Launch party!

Thank you to Madeleine Czigler for the riveting talk on fashion journalism last week! Madeleine led students through her decades of experience in the fashion world, her stand-out interviews, and the unique challenges of writing about this art form and cultural expression. She answered students' questions about the evolving demands of news consumers, the future of this industry, and what makes a good story. Stay tuned for more Peacock talks next semester!

Students registered in the Olympics Broadcasting Practicum visited Agence France Presse this week to hear from sports editor Guy Jackson on Olympics reporting. He shared his experience across London, Beijing, and Tokyo, how AFP races to get stories first, and how he envisions the Paris Olympics will go.

Thanks to Peacock faculty advisor Jurgen Hecker for organizing this opportunity for students to learn directly from a journalist at the world's oldest news agency!
