LOB[STAR] ROLLS 🦞💥

A lobster roll might be a bit more indulgent than your average cheese & pickle, but if you fancy a treat, it definitely hits the spot. We make ours with freshly landed Arisaig lobster, lemon & seaweed mayonnaise, rocket and edible wildflowers, all tucked inside a beautiful Arisaig Bread Shed roll ❤

After an incredible heatwave here on the West Coast, today is perfect weather for not holding a Games day, although the Traigh midges have missed out on a feast. 😉

As always we wish all holidaymakers and locals a lovely and safe staycation, and we so look forward to gladly welcoming you back on Wednesday 27th July 2022.

Tonight's sunset is a real treat 🤩

For the last couple of years our guests, and visitors that travel down our road, have been enjoying my cakes and biscuits available from an honesty box system outside our home but it seems a shame not to let more people in the area enjoy them.
Todays choices are triple Chocolate Brownies, White Chocolate Tiffin, Dark Chocolate Tiffin, Fruity Flapjack, all £2.00 for two in a bag. Ginger Nuts, Raisin Cookies, £1.00 for four and Shortbread, £1.00 for three
Ingredients are listed on the box lids and the packaging is biodegradable.
Take a drive about a quarter of a mile down Back of Keppoch, Arisaig and the honesty box is outside Seann Airidh.

Scotland is currently under level 4, though the Small Isles are in level 3.

Please Stay Local, Stay Safe and Help Protect the NHS and our rural community.

Changes from 16th April 2021

From Friday 16th April 2021 - Travel anywhere in Scotland to meet outdoors with family and friends is permitted (conditions apply)

Meet in groups of up to 6 adults from 6 households outdoors only.

No overnight stays or indoor visiting allowed at this stage. (exemptions apply)

Our accommodation, restaurants, take-away and retail remain closed in line with Scottish Government rules and will not be open until at least 26th April. Please when day tripping, consider our limited resources at this time and our communities COVID-19 regulations. Take all litter home and leave only footprints. (Takeaway may be available on reduced hours on Fri, Sat & Sun)

Timetable for easing restrictions

26 April: Mainland Scotland and Islands at level 4 are expected to move to level 3. Islands at level 3 will remain there until 17 May.

Tourism/Hospitality accommodation can open from 26th April 2021. All businesses are expected to operate in compliance with COVID-19 tourism and hospitality guidance.

Non-essential travel to Scotland from England and Wales is permitted from 26th April 2021. (waiting on N.Ireland travel update)

17th May: It is expected all of Scotland will move to Level 2

June (early): All of Scotland will move to Level 1

July (late): All of Scotland will move to Level 0

Plans will be under review and indicative dates are conditional of supportive data

All indicative dates are dependant on the continued suppression of the virus set out in the Scottish Government - COVID-19: timetable for easing restrictions.
