Some of our cottages are dog-friendly and in these we provide a welcome kit for your four-legged family member. “This was a fantastic place to stay for our little 3-day staycation. The cottage was very clean, super Covid cleaning procedures, clear information, all the things you could need and some lovely extra touches including dog treats, milk and wine. The location is excellent, very quiet, gorgeous views of the mountains and very accessible, a 5-10-minute walk into the centre of Aviemore. We made some great memories here and really hope to be back one day! Thank you!”

Even on a cloudy, early-winter day, Loch Ness is stunning. A lovely day trip from our cottages in Aviemore can take you to Loch Ness in around 45 minutes and Urquhart Castle can be reached in a little over an hour.

The wonderful Strathspey Steam Railway passes behind our cottages and the station is just a short walk away. We’re very happy to read that Strathspey Steam Railway’s winter services will run this year. Trains will depart from Aviemore and a variety of tickets will be available, some include festive mince pies and mulled wine! Keep an eye on their page for when ticket bookings open.
