Sarah has been an absolute joy to work with! She is amazing at what she does, is so approachable and always ready to give invaluable advice and support.

As a direct result of Sarah's support our following has increased by 50% with an increase in bookings also. Sarah has enabled us to reach an audience we otherwise could not have on our own.

As a working farm we would be lost without our three dogs, Laddie, Ava and Gina!

Laddie, our Blue Merle Collie is usually the first to introduce himself to guests and definitely leaves a lasting impression...we've lost count how many people have said they wanted to take him home with them 😆❤

We're Ronan and Helen Matthews with our three little girls Niamh, Orlagh and Cara 😊

Briarfield is a working family farm, Ronan and his dad Alistair breed pedigree Limousin cattle and his brother Eamonn rears and produces award wining lamb.

Three generations of the Matthews Family live here at Briarfield alongside a variety of animals...including our legendary dog Laddie! He's often first to greet our guests 😆

Here at Briarfield we want our guests to enjoy all that the Glens have to offer, making memories that will last a lifetime ⭐

'Experience the most dramatic coastal walk in Europe' with a visit to The Gobbins Cliff Path.

The dramatic cliff-face path at the Gobbins includes spectacular tubular and suspension bridges, staircases, caves and tunnels carved through the rock making it an experience unlike any other!

** Places to Visit **

Belfast Zoo is a fantastic day out for all ages. At the weekend we visited with the big two (aged 4 and 3) and some friends. Everyone had a brilliant day!

The Zoo is very hilly so I brought a buggy which was definitely needed for the littlest legs. We packed a picnic which we enjoyed at the top, finished off with an ice cream from the Treetop Tearooms (there are plenty of picnic tables throughout the Zoo).

The kids enjoyed the Adventure Playpark so much we visited it twice!

🌬🌪After a turbulent storm Dot has been whisked away from her hometown with her pet dog Terry and has landed here in Carnfunnock! She needs your help to get back home to her family through the magical portal before Easter is over!

🐥🐰👠Luckily Dot has been able to get some help from the Good Fairy Godmother Glenda, who has given Dot some lucky ruby red slippers. Glenda has also enlisted the help of Leo the Cowardly Lamb and Chester the Cheerful Chick. Together they hope to help Dot find her way out of Carnfunnock through the portal before the Evil Witch finds Dot and tries to steal her slippers.

🧙‍♀️🐕Dot needs your help to find all of the clues which have been blown all around the lower sections of the park by the storm. Make sure you look everywhere, even the yellow brick road hidden in the maze!

🤩Don’t forget you will also need to help design a magical hot air balloon to help Dot through the portal, make sure and do this before leaving the maze to find the portal! Then make your way to the Visitor Centre to hand in your map and collect your well-earned prize.

And remember, there’s no place like Carnfunnock!

What better way to see the stunning local scenery of the Causeway Coastal route than from the sea with Curiosity Boat Tours.

Skipper Davy Smith will welcome you onto his boat at Carnlough Harbour and take you on a spectacular tour where you will have the chance to spot dolphins, seal and porpoises! Binoculars are provided on board. You'll also have the opportunity to hear interesting stories and facts about the area 🌟

Carnfunnock Country Park has something for everyone. Walks, family fun, coffee and fresh air!

Some of the facilities include:

*Family fun zone
*BBQ areas and Picnic sites
*Walled gardens and maze

*Parklands Cafe
*Forest walks

They run amazing events and have even begun hosting a monthly market (last Sunday of each month). Check out their page for more information!

We love Carnfunnock and sometimes park at Drains Bay carpark (500m on past the entrance) and the girls ride their scooters or bikes along the tow path up to the park!

Carnfunnock is 6 miles from us and definitely worth a visit!

The beach is ALWAYS a good idea especially in this weather! Ballygalley is an award winning 300m long sandy beach which is popular all year round. Whether you are brave enough for a sea swim, like to dip your toes or simply have fun on the sand then Ballygalley is perfect!

The SPAR across the road has everything you could need for a picnic or a tasty Maud's ice cream 🍦

The newly renovated Ballygalley play park is 2 minutes walk from the beach as is the fabulous hotel.

Ballygalley is only 3 miles from us!

**Places to visit**

Today we took the big two girls to Antrim Forum Leisure Centre swimming pool. They have 'Leisure Swim' family sessions with fun floats which the girls loved!

Afterwards we visited Lough Shore Park which is beside the Leisure Centre and enjoyed a fab late lunch from which we ate in one of the cute painted picnic huts. I took the girls to the park while Ronan waited for the food...win win 😆
A great day out and definitely worth a visit! Antrim Castle gardens and Lough Shore Park is 35 minutes from here 😊

A fantastic local event with lots for the whole family to enjoy at Glenarm Castle's popular Tulip Festival 🌷
