We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have won a Visit England ROSE award. Nominated by our Visit England assessor, a panel then delves a bit deeper into the property but looking particularly at reviews from guests. The award is given to businesses who ‘go the extra mile’ in order to provide excellent customer service! Our guests have been very kind and we, along with only 99 other accommodation providers across the whole of England, have won the award. We had a great afternoon at the beautiful Great Fosters Hotel and met lots of the lovely winners from all over the country. We can’t promise perfect weather but, we can pretty much guarantee superb walks for humans and dogs alike. Whatley Cottage is perfectly situated for fabulous walks both on and off road. We have had a last minute cancellation at Whatley Cottage from this Friday 26th August-2nd September. The cottage sleeps two adults and up to 2 dogs are welcome to join you. Normally £1100 per week, Whatley is now available at £900 for the week.

The days are long at Whatley now so there’s plenty of time to sit down and relax. If you want a bit more action during your stay, we are only a 15 minute drive from part the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site at West Bay where there are lots of things to explore. The weekend weather forecast is excellent and Whatley cottage is available, at £100 per night, until 21st May. We can accommodate 2 adults comfortably and we are very happy if you want to bring your dog along too!

If you are going to be rudely awakened by any sound, surely this is the very best one to enjoy your morning coffee with. It’s reliably peaceful here at Whatley but the birds were very happy that the weekend had arrived this morning!

Cold, crisp nights and bright, sunny days have been on the menu in Dorset this week and our guests at Whatley have loved exploring the abundance of walks right from the cottage. They are perfect for both our human and four legged friends alike. Rolo loved his stay here and was especially excited by the huge amount of swimming opportunities and then an evening by the log burner!
