What do you think about golf courses being closed?

What do you think about golf courses being closed. Castlereagh hills is my home golf course. When the golf course opened again after the first lockdown it give all golfers a lift. The golf clubs had made great changes to help look after their staff and members and to protect against the spread of Covid-19. All the measures they had put in place worked so well. I have a lot of colleagues from the golfing community and everyone was saying how well it was working and that it was amazing to get out both mentally and physically. It made such a difference in their lives. I also note we have 150 new members which have joined the club since reopening from the first lockdown. Around Ireland the numbers went up around 10% with new members who joined the golf clubs. It was a great boost for the local golf clubs, but now that they have closed the golf courses down again, I find all a bit baffling, as I do not understand why they did. What do you golfers out there think ? What about golfers around the world, have your courses been closed?

1. *Mascot (Charlie) When I first started my golf company a friend named Deirdre said she was going to make me a mascot for my business. When Deirdre came back to me with the mascot, I was amazed it was fantastic. I asked Deirdre what we should name him, we finally decided to call it Charlie. When I am on a golf tour with my clients, we bring Charlie with us, every day on the golf trip we would play golf competitions and the person who comes in last place each day of the golf competition must bring Charlie down to breakfast with them the next morning. It is always a great laugh. But the clients often get attached to Charlie and decide to bring it down for a drink that evening as well, they find him great crack. lol. PGA of America made a major announcement, that have got all golfers around the world talking! Starting this year, PGA of America will become the first major body in the game to allow the use of distance-measuring devices, such as laser rangefinders and GPS systems, at its three major events. The PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. PGA of America, President Jim Richerson said, “We’re always interested in methods that may help improve the flow of play during our Championships,” with the idea that players and caddies can find their yardages faster, thus speeding up the pace of play.
