We've kept you all wondering for long enough, so we're excited to announce the festive season is coming to Bridlington ... in August!🤨

Seashells are being swapped for jingle bells...as Christmas comes early to Bridlington on 7 August when the first ever Brid-mas Day takes place.🎄

The aim of the day is to show that Bridlington is not just a summer destination😎 but also a fantastic place to be during the festive season.🎅

Christmas themed events will take over East Riding of Yorkshire Council venues and services including Bridlington Spa, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and even the iconic land trains, from 9am to 4pm on the day.

Active Coast will be hosting free activities on the south beach outside Bridlington Spa,⛱️ the iconic land trains will be having a festive make-over 🚂 and will be belting out some Christmas classics, Bridlington Spa will be showing a free screening of Elf,🎅 starring Will Ferrell at 2pm in the Spa Theatre, and our cafes will all be serving festive treats😋 . Sewerby Hall, Bridlington Central Library and East Riding Library will also be getting into the festive spirit!🎄

Troy Harris, who is playing Muddles in this year’s Bridlington Spa pantomime, Jack And The Beanstalk🌱 will be popping up in costume at various venues throughout the day.

There will also be a chance to win some fantastic Christmas themed prizes across the events.🤩

There's so much more happening, it's going to be a cracker of a day but you'll have to come along and see for your-elf!😁

Learn about a servant's life🤵with our interactive display. Take part and dress up as Edwardian servants or members of the Greame family, and chat with our costumed interpreters.

Our Amy Johnson exhibit🛩️ has two dedicated rooms, one displaying a vast collection of memorabilia and the other showing a short film about her record breaking flight to Australia.

Not forgetting the Mortimer Exhibition🔍 (on until 14 April) which celebrates life and times of John Robert Mortimer, East Riding of Yorkshire’s prolific antiquarian, proto-archaeologist, author, and curator.

beautiful and perfectly located chalet.
we stayed for 2 nights with our 3 children and beagle...... plenty large enough, extremely clean and bonus of towels too...... didn't use but had dishwasher and air fryer......washing machine, vac, iron etc.....perfect Home from home......
location was amazing, next to amusement and exercise park which my boys loved!
highly recommend and looking forward to booking again
