2024 Photo Competition
Today is World Photography Day! To coincide with this we want to let you know about our 2024 Photo Competition!

This is your chance to send us your holiday snaps and be in with a chance of winning £300 off your 2025 holiday with us.

The photos entered must include yourself, your dog or both and to be eligible, you must have stayed with us in 2024. You can submit photos taken both on and off the parks.

This competition closes on the 29th November 2024. After that, our team will choose a selection of favourite images, which will go to a public vote here on Facebook to decide the overall winner.

Please note there is a road closure of the A35 between Bridport and Axminster from the 24th June to approximately the 18th of July. The road will be closed on weeknights from 8pm to 6am. Please plan your journeys and arrivals accordingly as this will affect access to Eype. If you need to discuss your arrival, please call our bookings team on 01308 426947

We apologise for the delay in releasing bookings, and thank those of you who have been patiently waiting. We've been so busy behind the scenes making big plans for the park this year, including ordering a number of brand new caravans!

The new additions haven't arrived on the park yet, but we can't wait to get them here and take some great photos to show them off to you! We'll be keeping the caravans which were previously known as Brit and Eype in the top two rows of the park, and replacing many of the older ones closer to the park entrance.

You can secure your booking for just a £100 deposit per week!

As you might be aware, there will be no camping at Eype Beach in 2024, as we prepare the park for an exciting facelift.

We'll also be welcoming a number of brand new, luxury glamping pods later in the year. These will be fully furnished, each with its own toilet, shower and mini kitchenette, enabling you to be completely self-sufficient whilst on holiday. Please note that the photo above is from the manufacturer, so the interior layout and decor will vary from what is shown.

10 Fun Facts About Dorset.... 🤔

1. The Jurassic coast was the first-ever natural site to make the UNESCO World Heritage list in December 2001.

2. The bendiest road in Britain is situated in Dorset. One section is known as Zig Zag Hill.

3. Enid Blyton loved to spend time here as a child, and those fond childhood memories were the source of inspiration for her famous book “Five”.

4. Dorsets Naga chillis are known as one of the world’s hottest chillis, the Naga rates 923,000 on the Scoville heat scale, which is incredibly hot!

5. The questions and answers from the well-loved family game of trivial pursuit were researched in the Weymouth Public Library.

6. The oldest post box in England can be found on the streets of Holwell, a quaint village in Dorset and is still in use today.

7. The first ever fossil shop in Britain was opened by Mary Annings in Lyme Regis in 1826!

8. It was Mary Anning whose life and work was also the inspiration behind the well-known tongue-twister “she sells sea shells on the sea shore".

9. There isn't a single mile of motorway in Dorset! This means that the environment is peaceful and perfect!

10. Dorset has the highest life expectancy out of all the counties in England. This is most likely down to the clean, unpolluted air and the more relaxed lifestyle.
