The world is a poorer place today for the loss of the inimitable Tony Hill; my brother in law, but really the brother I never had; creative, colourful, opinionated, irreverent, hilarious, mad, annoying, clever, loyal, alternative, stylish & brilliant.
What an honour & privilege it has been to be in his life for nearly six decades, and to have had him in mine.

Hello September! I was pleased to capture the first sunset of September last night at a slightly quieter Durdle Door. In my experience September often offers up stunning sunsets and last night’s was pretty nice - mackerel clouds and glorious golden light. The only thing missing, thanks to cloud bank on the horizon, was dramatic post sunset reds and pinks. The forecast isn’t looking too good for the next few days so here’s hoping September still has a lot more to offer when we get through (the much needed) rainy days.
