Our Christmas food festival "Producers' Fest" is now just around the corner! Around 30 of our local suppliers and producers will be coming and there will be loads of special offers on the day plus plenty of chances for tastings. There was a great atmosphere at this event last year so we really hope that lots of you come again this time for more fun and festivities 😊

Sunday 19th November, 10am-3pm in our farm shop in Bridport. Free entry, free parking.

Sadly, we have decided to cancel the Fete on Saturday. The forecast and the ground conditions, have made it unfeasible to go ahead.
BUT we have a Plan B: a smaller village event this Saturday 5th August from 2pm until 5pm using the Village Hall and The Loders Arms. We’ll have cream teas, a bar, the raffle, tombola, various stalls and entertainment from Magician Count Backwards. Entry is free, but parking will be limited.

Tomorrow is the day 📖 ... Professional Bridport-based author and storyteller, Martin Maudsley, is leading two spellbinding storytelling events at the Estate tomorrow.

The ‘Lost Stories’ Family Storytelling Performance will feature traditional tales and local legends from around the world. Held outside in our beautiful Estate grounds, Martin brings to life a series of Lost Stories about the natural world, including how Raven the trickster brought the tide to the sea, why Wren is King of Birds and what happens if you hear Bluebells ringing in the woods.

The Mythical Holloways Story Walk will bring the ancient landscape of Shute's Lane to life through magical myths, legends and modern fiction. Come along to follow the Holloway footsteps of Geoffrey Household, Robert Macfarlane and the fairy folk themselves!
