Would you like to come and stay in our beautiful vintage caravan from Friday 9 - Monday 12 August? Tucked away in a private garden (with bbq and firepit) within idyliic 3-acre grounds, our caravan sleeps two in a kingsize bed - and one well-behaved dog is welcome too. There's a comfy sofa and a compact but well equipped kitchen, and a large private bathroom is a couple of steps away. Facilities include a sauna (with bucket shower), swimming pond and games area in our barn. Guests can also borrow our tandem or single kayak which are stored at a beautiful local bay.

What a wonderful walk we had from St Justinian’s to Porthclais last weekend...and it felt even more special as I didn't end up in hospital this time! I also no longer have to wear a horrible elbow brace 😊

It’s an absolutely stunning section of the coast path offering fab views of Ramsey Island. We saw seals and dolphins too! And, although it's c.5 miles, it doesn't have any steep inclines, so it offers an excellent effort-to-reward ratio!

We parked at St Justinians and used the fab Celtic Coaster bus (which runs from the end of March to the end of September) to get back from Porthclais. See the comments for the timetable.

We love exploring the stunning North Pembrokeshire coastline near Cwm—yr-Eglwys by kayak. And how wonderful it was to see the area - and us - from the air for the first time!

A year ago today we were filmed by and what fun it was! Can you spot us in our tandem kayak in pic 1 along with Newport Bay, Carningli Mountain, Morfa Head and Cemaes Head? We become easier and easier to spot in the subsequent pics!

And did you know that our guests can use our tandem kayak free of charge, and a single one too? Both are stored in the boat yard in Cwm-yr-Eglwys which makes it quick and easy to get out on the water and to start exploring.

What a stunning walk we did yesterday from St Justinian's to Porthclais, and the icing on the cake was to arrive back in time to watch the launch of RNLI St Davids Lifeboat as part of their open day. Here are a few pics and see the comments for a link to the reel I posted yesterday.

From oxeye daisies and sheep’s-bit to heath spotted orchids, what a wonderful display of wildflowers there was at Whitesands on Sunday 😊

I was there to thank the fab team at RNLI Lifeguards North Pembrokeshire who helped me after I fell and broke my elbow and wrist five Sundays before. And I was so happy that the swimmer who took me to hospital also happened to be there.

There’s a long road to recovery ahead (see the final pic for my bionic-looking arm!) but it felt so great to be out on the coast path again ❤️

I was over the moon to make it to Pentre Ifan (our local Neolithic burial chamber) just in time for a stunning twilight last Friday. After a horrible couple of days in hospital, I wanted to see something beautiful, so we took a detour on our way back. At the time, it felt like the perfect end to the day…and then we got home to an aurora!

Wow - what a spectacular welcome home that was! I certainly didn't expect to be out in our garden marvelling at the great gig in the sky until 1am last night, having finally had an operation to fix a broken elbow yesterday. Probably not what the doc would have ordered...and good to see the pics this morning to prove it wasn't all a morphine-induced dream!

After a busy day, and a very grey and overcast start to the evening, we almost didn’t go to the beach yesterday…but I’m so glad we did! We had a stunning 40-min show pretty much to ourselves, and what a fab finale it was to a brilliant bank holiday weekend ❤️

What a glorious golden hour walk I had yesterday evening on the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru / Wales Coast Path on Morfa Head. And this fabulous view from the waterfall towards Newport and Dinas Head - and the setting sun - was one of many highlights 💛
