Captains Lockyer does have a side view where you can stand in the bedroom and observe what the Dart looks like each morning. A great location for exploring the Southhams with Brixham and Berry Head less 2 miles away. Visit the fabulous Blackpool and Slapton sands a short drive once you have crossed on the ferry. Travel to Brixham to walk on the Breakwater and walk on the Breakwater beach. Maybe go for a walk to Berry Head and if you are in luck you will see the Dolphins. Captains Lockyer has everything you need for a convenient and comfortable stay.

Episode #1 of the brand-new Agatha Christie in Devon podcast has just launched, which is all about her Childhood.

The presenters explore Agatha’s early life in Torquay with her parents and siblings and visit some of the places she would have known very well as a young girl. Special guests include Hilary Macaskill, Rachel Trethewey, Father Peter March and Kemper Donovan.

A new episode will be available every Thursday at 10am. Episode #1 is currently available exclusively on the Agatha Christie Festival website, but will be available on all major podcast channels in the very near future.
