Recent feedback from our November Cuba dance holiday in Santiago de Cuba:

" our dance partners and tutors – they were all absolutely superb – so welcoming, friendly, helpful and overall, extremely professional – such talented dancers but also really excellent teachers – truly amazingly brilliant. And they made learning really fun. It was especially nice to be accompanied by our teachers on our nights out as they made sure we could dance at our own standard which was very reassuring. The whole team could not have been more friendly and helpful – I felt like I was part of a family." Debbie C

"All the tutors and partners were experts at what they did and didn’t make us feel awkward at all. They were very patient and had no problems repeatedly going over things/demonstrating. They were so friendly and always smiling." Debbie F

"Evenings out with the dancers listening to live music 🎶 were very good, some evenings obviously better than others. Sight seeing trips were also a lot of fun so all in all it was a very enjoyable trip"

Feedback from a happy traveller recently returned from Santiago de Cuba: 'Your trips are exceptionally run - with just about every detail addressed providing comfort for the newby. My homestay accommodation was ideal: very clean, fabulous location, gracious hosts, good and generous portions of food. The dance partners truly made the trip exceptional. They were patient and gracious and loving and engaged with all of us. They nurtured us and their mutual love and respect for one another transformed the experience.'

The historic Santa Ifigenia cemetery in Santiago de Cuba opened in 1868 and is open to the public. It is the final resting place of former Cuban president Fidel Castro, whose grave is humbly marked by a large boulder with 'Fidel' in large letters. You can also see the mausoleum of Jose Marti, widely regarded as the forefather of the Cuban Revolution and whose tomb is guarded by three uniformed soldiers. Did you know that each pillar of his mausoleum represents a different Cuba province? Visit with Caledonia Worldwide accompanied by our knowledgeable local tour guide
