Vestibules!

We live in small cabins year round in the Scottish Highlands. One thing we have learned from this experience is the importance of the entry space! You don’t want to bring dripping waterproofs, muddy welly boots, buggies and outdoor gear into your lovely cabin, so having a large covered transition space to get sorted out before going indoors is absolutely vital. That why our Ecotone Cabins have big, fully covered entrance porches that make changing from indoors to outdoor a smooth and easy process.

Buying local products from independent producers is very important to us, as it helps reduce food miles and support small businesses that are committed to their local communities.

Well… it’s a bathroom!
Each bedroom in the cabins has their own one, which is nice.

It has things in it that help it use less water 💦 ♻️
Someone cleans it with nice smelling & environmentally friendly products 👃🌱
The toilet paper has funny colourful packaging with jokes on and is made from sustainably sourced materials. 🚽 🧻
It even has refillable dispensers of environmentally friendly wash products 🚿🧼
